Engineering

We collaborate with trusted engineering consultants to deliver everything from connection designs to temporary works and full structural assessments. This capability complements our in-house services, enabling us to provide a complete solution – from initial design through to final erection.

Fabrication

Mack Engineering has the capacity and expertise to fabricate steel structures of any size or complexity. Operating from our 45,000 sq/ft purpose-built facility on a 5-acre site, we’re equipped with industry-leading CNC machinery, six overhead gantry cranes, and a highly experienced team of fabricators and welders.

Certified to Execution Class 4 under EN 1090, we handle everything from modular secondary steel to large-scale infrastructure projects like road and rail bridges. Our setup is purpose-designed to deliver precision, efficiency, and quality at scale.

Protective Coatings

Our in-house protective coatings division ensures all steel structures receive the highest standard of finish and durability. With a dedicated blast shed and fully equipped painting area on site, we apply coating systems ranging from C1 to C5M environments, meeting the demanding specifications of modern infrastructure projects.

We also apply intumescent paint in-house, providing 60, 90, or 120-minute fire protection as required. From precision shop finishes to on-site touch-ups and full coating applications, Mack Engineering delivers complete protective coating solutions under one roof.

Erection

Mack Engineering provides full structural erection services, delivering and installing the complex steel structures we fabricate. Our highly skilled site crews and experienced management team specialise in fitting intricate builds under the most challenging conditions. From coordinating specialised transport and craneage to supplying all necessary plant, we manage the full process in-house.

We proudly erect structural steel for projects across Ireland and the EU, ensuring safety, precision, and reliability at every stage.
